Position Overview
The role is primarily focused on using a React/Typescript front end stack, interacting with backend APIs to drive the development and maintenance of Modern, responsive web applications. Working closely with different members of the team throughout the whole development process, from understanding client requirements, creating workable prototypes, estimating and finally developing great web applications and user experiences.
Main Responsibilities and Duties

- Maintain and update existing web pages.
- Design new webpages, applications and application features.
- Convert designs into HMTL/CSS prototypes.
- Complete small development enhancements.
- Configure and deploy websites and applications.
- Deal with incidents logged with within ticketing system.
- Assist Team leader with ad hoc tasks.
- Provide constructive feedback to improve any processes or tasks within the department.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships within IT and wider business.
- Follow CDS Global policies and procedures when completing work assigned.
Qualifications / key skills required
- Working knowledge of React and typescript.
- Good understanding of other common front-end frameworks such as HTML5, Bootstrap and SASS/CSS.
- Good understanding of jQuery/JavaScript.
- Understanding of Responsive web design.
- Capable of creating designs using imaging software.
- Basic understanding of SQL server management studio.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
